My only thing is making sure we hammer in that the church is CHRISTIANS and that is not the PLACE where christians gather. Maybe mention how God dwelt in the temple in the OT and now God dwells in His Church which is people and not a building (We are the house of God, His house is not the building where we meet). I think its real important that the kids get this concept early on that the church is people and is NEVER to be equated with a building. Here are some verses: Eph 2:19-22; 1 Cor. 6:19; 1 Pet. 2:5.
Some application that i think might be good maybe in the discussion time is that we should reflect God. Since He loves His people (church) so should we. Building up His temple in the OT would be like us building up and edifying one another to since we are His temple now.
